At Paws On Tap, our mission is to create a place where people and pups can gather, connect, and truly feel at home. That vision is made stronger by the heart and community focus of our co-owner, Pam Koehler.
Pam brings not only business experience, but a deep-rooted commitment to building welcoming environments — the kind where people feel comfortable the moment they walk through the door.
Pam has called this area home since graduating from law school. After spending more than 20 years practicing with a firm, she made the decision to open her own practice.
Her goal was simple but powerful: create a more comfortable, less stressful experience for both clients and staff. She believed that professional spaces didn’t have to feel intimidating — they could feel warm, supportive, and human.
That belief now carries into Paws On Tap.
If you’ve spent any time around Pam, you know her love for dogs runs deep.
Her law office has two full-time “ambassadors” — Nigel and Blueberry — who help set the tone for a welcoming, relaxed environment every single day. They aren’t just office pets; they’re part of the experience.
It’s no surprise that when Pam heard about Chad’s vision for a dog-friendly taproom, she instantly felt connected to the idea.
When Chad shared his dream of building a self-serve, dog-friendly taproom, Pam immediately saw the opportunity to help create something special for the community.
