We Made the News! Paws On Tap Featured in Indianapolis Monthly

It’s been a whirlwind since we officially opened our doors on June 1st. We’ve poured thousands of ounces of craft beer, welcomed hundreds of incredible dogs to our patio, and watched this community come together exactly the way we hoped it would.

But this week, we got a little extra validation that what we’re building here in Whitestown is something special.

We are thrilled to share that Paws On Tap was just featured in Indianapolis Monthly!

“Designed for Craft Beer Lovers and Dog Owners Alike”

In their latest dining roundup,
Indianapolis Monthly highlighted our grand opening, calling out exactly what makes Paws On Tap unique.

“Paws on Tap, a taproom ‘designed for craft beer lovers and dog owners alike,’ opened Monday in Whitestown, featuring a self-pour system with nearly 40 craft beers, ciders, cocktails, and wines by the ounce or glass. On-leash dogs are welcome inside and out.” — Indianapolis Monthly

Seeing our concept described so perfectly in one of the city’s most respected publications is a surreal moment for our team. When we first dreamed up Paws On Tap, this was exactly the vision: a place where you didn’t have to choose between getting a great drink and hanging out with your dog.

The Self-Pour Experience is Catching On

One of the things we love most about the
Indianapolis Monthly feature is that they highlighted our self-pour system.

If you haven’t been in yet, the self-pour wall is the heartbeat of the taproom. With nearly 40 taps, you have complete control over your experience. Want to try just a splash of a local IPA before committing to a pint? You can do that. Want to mix a cider and a sour? Go for it. You pay by the ounce, which means the days of ordering a drink you don’t actually like are officially over.

It’s interactive, it’s fun, and it means you never have to wait to catch a bartender’s eye when you’re ready for round two.

We’re Already Hosting Events – And They’re Exactly This Fun

If the
Indianapolis Monthly photo caught your eye, there’s a great story behind it. That photo was taken on International Corgi Day, June 4th, during our very first themed event: Bring Your Corgi Day. 🐾

Corgi owners came out in full force, photos were taken all day long, and at the end of it, one very deserving pup was crowned Corgi of the Day – complete with a special Corgi Day treat to help them celebrate. It was exactly the kind of afternoon we imagined when we designed this place.

And this is just the beginning. Paws On Tap will be hosting events like this on a regular basis – themed days, community gatherings, and plenty of reasons to bring your dog out for something a little more special than just a Tuesday night. Follow us on social media so you never miss what’s coming up next.

Thank You to the Pack

Press coverage is amazing, but the real highlight of our opening has been you – our community.

To everyone who has come out to support us in our first couple of weeks, thank you. Thank you for bringing your dogs, for following the Pack Code, and for making this space feel like home so quickly.

If you haven’t made it out to Whitestown yet, consider this your official invitation. Come see what Indianapolis Monthly is talking about. Grab a drink, bring the dog (just remember, we are a 21+ establishment!), and join the pack.

We’ll see you at the tap wall!
